Here is a list of programs that can be useful:
||Tired of reaching for your volume knob every time your mp3 player changes to a new song?
MP3Gain analyzes and adjusts mp3 files so that they have the same volume.
The changes MP3Gain makes are completely lossless.
There is no quality lost in the change because the program adjusts the mp3 file directly,
without decoding and re-encoding.
MP3Gain is Freeware.
||CDex can extract the data directly (digital) from an Audio CD,
which is generally called a CD Ripper or a CDDA utility.
The resulting audio file can be an MP3 file.
CDex can read album information from a remote CD Database (CDDB) in internet,
so you do not have to type in all the titles etc.
Please take care on the jurisdiction. Perhaps in your country it is not allowed to copy music CDs.
CDex is Freeware.
